The saying "When in Rome do as the Romans" just does not apply to British people. Take TV programmes like "A place in the sun" and some such like. There they go to Spain or Italy or Greece or whatever and they expect everyone they meet to speak English!! I tend to agree with you. I have never had a positive experience with employment agencies.

Actually, when I have been involved in recruiting, I have always been very keen to do it myself. I can't think why people think it is such a chore to do recruitment that they want to outsource it. It's very interesting. more…
